A really cool little place. You can go upstairs and Bowl and have some really great pizza. And you can rent a pool table which is always fun. And then you can go downstairs for a 50s type feel. Really cool neon lights and all in all really cool place to check out if you're ever in the area.A really cool little place. You can go upstairs and Bowl and have some really great pizza. Atomic Bowling is an absolute gem of an establishment, and I couldn't be more pleased with my recent experience there. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly put me at ease. It's the kind of place that you might describe as a "hole-in-a-wall," but don't let its unassuming exterior fool you; it's a hidden treasure.
First and foremost, I must commend the helpful bartender who went above and beyond to make my visit exceptional. Her impeccable service was a highlight of the evening. She was not only knowledgeable about the impressive selection of beers but also quick to offer recommendations that suited my taste perfectly. Her friendly demeanor and attentiveness made the evening all the more enjoyable.
Speaking of the beer and food, Atomic Bowling didn't disappoint in that department either. The beer selection was extensive, with options to satisfy every palate. The quality of the brews truly stood out. Pairing them with the delicious food offerings from the bar elevated the experience to new heights. The menu featured a variety of mouthwatering options that catered to different preferences, making it a great place to unwind and enjoy some hearty bites.
One important tip for visitors: remember to stop playing when your time is up, as the lane does not automatically shut off. This courteous gesture ensures a smooth transition for the next group of eager bowlers.
In conclusion, Atomic Bowling offers a delightful and peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. With a helpful bartender, amazing beer and food, and an inviting atmosphere, it's a place I can wholeheartedly recommend for a memorable night out.
The cost for 1 lane on a weeknight, for 1 hour, is $40.
This is a hidden gem here in Indianapolis. It is a great retro feel and some old fashioned duck pin bowling. The service is always great and the food is good.
It is more fun and a better time compared to regular bowling and often less expensive.
I want this place to be nicer than it is. We had continuous problems with balls getting lost in the back and pins not setting right. Could be a nice place with just a little more love and updates/maintenance. Staff was receptive when we had issues. Still a fun time to be had here!
Attended a company Christmas party here and had a great time. Choose to take the stairs to the 4th floor since the building is super old just like this place. The lanes and balls and decor were nostalgic and charming.
Nostalgic, vintage, truly like stepping back into another bubble of time. Gets me all in those retro feelz!!
We have been here twice now and I absolutely love it. My whole family had a blast. The food is good. The guy who runs the place is just the nicest! We can’t wait to come back to atomic bowling. They have 2 in the building and the 4th floor is my fave! Definitely give it a try!
Really cool place to spend an afternoon. It's located in Fountain Square, which adds to the opportunities of your visit. The area has lots of great little shops and restaurants.
There are two rooms available, and both are vintage. One is a 1950s style and the other is more of a 20's - 30's style. Both have really cool memorabilia. The building itself is like going back in time, they have done a really good job preserving and revitalizing this place.
We had a lot of fun. It is rented out by the hour, and all scoring is done manually. Don't let that deter you, because the middle school aged children figured it out in minutes.
They offer food and drinks, even adult beverages. Food is more like shareable, but I think I have a variety.
This is great for groups, parties, events, or just a fun afternoon/evening with friends. Highly recommend, and will be back.
